The UniScan Diameter Slice measure process allows you to measure zero-length straights.

Starting the Diameter Slice Command
This process is available in UNISCAN mode. Select the UniScan Mode tab, and then select “UniScan Diameter Slice” before you start scanning the slice.
Using the Ball Probe
To use the ball probe, manually turn off the LASER scanner, then take three points that represent the diameter slice. The accuracy of the point placement is critical because it controls the vector of the circle formed. You can select more than three points; the resulting circle will be the average of those points. Press the accept button when you are finished.
Using the LASER Scanner
To use the scanner, aim the laser where you want the slice to form, and press and release the acquisition button. The slice will form when you release the acquisition button.
