February 17, 2026 - Version 4.5 Build 1928
1 - New - Linear Dimensions can be offset on either end along the linear axis.
2 - New - Plane and radius offsets are now available when probing a circle in VTube-LASER.
The new offset fields are in the “From Probe” tab menu of the Point Cloud menu.
February 13 - Version 4.5 Build 1927
1 - FIX - Build 1927 is a minor fix for build 1926 that will prevent VTube from writing logs to C:\ which is often protected from writes without that path being explicitly programmed into VTube.
February 6 - Version 4.5 Build 1926
1 - NEW - The Part Setup's Operator field can now be filled from a list of pre-configured names.
|
The System Options Global Lists menu now contains an optional list that can be filled with operator names to be used in a dropdown selection in Part Setup.
The names are stored in the global configuration, which means that they will be available in every project file.
The list can be enabled or disabled using the enable checkbox above the list.
This change is for VTube-LASER alone since VTube-STEP has no operator field.

2 - NEW - We added a Work Order History Table
The Work Order History table automatically tracks the last 20 work orders. Every time a user enters a new Work Order in Part Setup, VTube stores the Work Order value on the top table row.
This is how the table works:
- Each row contains the Work Order text and the Date/Time it was entered.
- The table can be viewed from VTube-STEP or VTube-LASER by double-clicking on the Work Order cell in Part Setup.
- The table can be viewed in VTube-STEP or VTube-LASER by right-clicking anywhere in the Part Setup menu and selecting Load Work Order History Table.
- The table is stored in the project file (not in the global configuration file).
- Any row can be deleted.
- Any deletion can be undone with Ctrl-Z or the Undo button.
- Adding new Work Orders cannot be undone.
- The Work Order text cannot be edited in this table. It is read-only.
- Any row can be copied to the clipboard using a pop-up menu.
- The entire table can be copied to the clipboard as text using a pop-up menu.
- The entire table can be copied to the clipboard as HTML-formatted text using a pop-up menu.
3 - NEW - MOXA Driver for Win 11 Embedded in the VTube Setup
|
We added a new MOXA driver to the installation file to allow MOXA serial device servers to be compatible with Windows 11.
The new driver can be found in the Moxa folder under the VTube program files folder.
Moxa serial device servers are used for Benderlink applications from VTube to older benders that require RS-232 COM port communications. |
