Which files are used to create the backup?

The Import/Export configuration feature described here builds a backup of a .VCZB file.

The file end with ".vczb" but can be changed to a ".zip" filename. The name before the filename extension will generated with a name that looks like this:

  • exported_vtube_configuration_ 20220516_13_56_53.vczb"

The name includes the date and time encoded into the name.

Steps to BACKUP the Current Configuration

STEP 1) Go to System Options

STEP 2) Find the Project Setup tab and select

"BACKUP VTube Configuration to Zip Backup File"

STEP 3) Save the exported .vczb file

STEP 4) Press OK

Steps to RESTORE a Configuration from a Backup

STEP 1) Go to System Options

STEP 2) Find the Project Setup tab and select

"RESTORE and Reset VTube Configuration from

a VTube Zip Backup File"

STEP 3) Find and open the correct .vczb

STEP 4) Press Continue

STEP 5) Press OK
