Overview of the Two-Level Activation Process for VTube Licenses

VTube uses a two-level license process that requires:

1) A USB "hardware key" plugged into the computer to run the program on that computer, and

Steps for the Two-Level License Activation

LICENSE STEP 1: ACTIVATE THE USB HARDWARE KEY

• Demo licenses do not require this step. Skip to STEP 2 if you have a demo license.
• If you have already performed this step once, you can move to STEP 2. This step only needs to be performed once.
• For increased security, we ship our USB hardware keys without activation.
• Once you receive them, we send you a program that embeds a license into the USB hardware key.
• Plug in and run the USB setup program using the link sent from Advanced Tubular. This step needs to be completed before activating the software license.

STEP 2: DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE MOST RECENT SOFTWARE BUILD

Download and install the correct software on the computers it will use. https://www.advancedtubularsupport.com/

LICENSE STEP 3: ACTIVATE THE INTERNET LICENSE

1) Click on "Activate VTube Online."

2) Enter the License ID and Activation Password provided

by Advanced Tubular and press Continue

3) Activation Successful!

Typical Activation Problems

If you see a red bar with Activation Failed. Code 8, then Windows or a firewall is blocking access to the Internet License server.
