1 - VTube now has three new text buttons on the top of the viewports: Hidden Lines, Transparency, and Wireframe.

These buttons toggle the viewing modes of the shapes on the screen.

2 - An OD calculation issue is repaired for the Collected Features parametric build.

The Assembly Control window has a new "Toggle" column that allows users to quickly toggle all switches on or off for any tube in the assembly.

VTube-LASER is updated to accept messages from the Metronor DUO camera systems.

Metronor has confirmed that this update works with the Duo. (It already worked with the SOLO camera systems.)

1 - We fixed Dim Plus and Dim Minus linear tolerance row values.

2 - We fixed IJK output for the Measured Circle value in the General Metrics grid. It was converted as a linear distance value when manually entered. IJK values are not linear distance values.

Version 4.3 Build 1541 - April 19, 2024

1 - We fixed an issue for VTube-STEP cylinder calculations when using "collection" methods.

The issue rarely occurred when using tube straight collections to calculate tube centerlines. The math engine now overcomes this issue automatically.

2 -The help videos are no longer automatically embedded in every VTube installation.

They can be downloaded and installed at VTube installation if the user chooses. This saves significant build, upload, download, and installation time.

Version 4.3 Build 1540 - April 17, 2024

1 - Now, you can measure OUTER and INNER diameter cylinders with proper probe compensation.

• New checkboxes are added to the cylinder measure controls to calculate the INNER diameter.

2 - We fixed the Bender Setup LRA Correction Percentage controls.

• The controls now correctly reduce the corrections based on the percentages.
• We also improved the user interface for this menu. The new help text explains how the percentages can be different for each bender channel and how they are stored in the global configuration to be available for all projects that use each of the selected benders.

3 - We improved the scanner / probe toggle user interface.

• We enabled laser toggling in all measure guide controls by clicking on the laser color bar.
• We added a new Toggle Laser BUTTON in the lower left corner of the floating DRO window.

4 - Now, the Report window is made invisible when using a dialog to save a report to a PDF file.

• This ensures that the Report window is not obscuring the view of the save dialog.

1 - The Chiyoda EX correction process is enhanced so that the CHS file that was recalled becomes the template file used to build the corrected CHS file.

1 - Chiyoda EX bender correction communications are now part of the VTube-LASER Bender Setup window.

2 - The Chiyoda EX file protocol is included in the Benderlink setup grid to allow for Chiyoda EX bender corrections.

1 - The viewport image files are now always refreshed when building reports.

2 - The option to turn off the viewport image refresh has been removed from the System Option Report menu.

Version 4.3 Build 1526 - April 4, 2024

1 - The STL model import is added in VTube-LASER Point Cloud Control.

This allows for importing scanned data from any device that scans surfaces and creates STL files. The imported data is converted to a point cloud which can then be used to create a MEASURED tube for comparison to a MASTER tube, which allows for tube shape qualification and bender correction.
