Laser scanners often return rogue points that should not be in the data. We call these fliers. These points are normal, and it is the nature of scanning. VTube-LASER detects and removes them using special filters for both the cylinders and the ends.  The basic idea is to reject lone points and keep points in a group that makes sense.

The End Scan Flier Filter is biased toward points that fall inside a perpendicular end zone relative to the tube centerline.
