VTube 4.5 Build 1934 - March 18, 2026
1 - NEW Report Template Added: “XYZ Intersection Qualification.html”
This report template shows the deviations of the END and INTERSECTION points rather than the standard tangent points. You can import this template from the program files prototype folder after this install is complete.

2 - NEW Copy from MASTER to MEASURED and MEASURED-ALIGNED Button Added
This allows users to copy from new MASTER data to MEASURED and MEASURED-ALIGNED with a single button.

3 - NEW Internet License ID Displayed in Splash
This allows customers to learn and track their VTube Internet license ID.

4 - REDESIGN and FIXES - Build Linear Dimension Control User Interface
a - The control component placements and sizes use screen space more efficiently. This allows the control window to be smaller.

b - A new “Use Name” edit box lets users name the new linear dimension before it is created.

c - Importing a linear dimension configuration from the Space Object database now accurately configures all the settings. (Previous versions of VTube-LASER would not update the Dimension Calculation Axis Alignment, Snap Plane, or Dimension View Orientation settings.)

d - If source or target tube data are not configured, then the builder now warns users.
VTube 4.5 Build 1933 - March 9, 2026
1 - We've started adding new help cells.
Watch the video to see how they help users.
VTube 4.5 Build 1932 - March 5, 2026
1 - NEW: VTube-LASER DCP (Diameter Cut Plane) Enhancement
There are no situations where omitting all LASER points from the DCP filter is useful, so we changed VTube-LASER DCP logic so that it no longer can filter out all points when the LASER length is set to zero. This will save uses from potential confusion in situations where it is convenient to have DCP Auto active and the Diameter value is zero - like during reverse engineering.
VTube 4.5 Build 1931 - March 4, 2026

1 - NEW: VTube-STEP Can Export to a DXF Centerline File
A customer requested that we allow VTube-STEP to export the XYZ master centerline data to a DXF file for gage building. That capability is added to the Export menu of VTube-STEP.

VTube 4.5 Build 1930 - March 3, 2026
1 - We removed the banner that shows when VTube is saving the global configuration files.
This banner could cause VTube to move on top of other active windows. Users found the banner annoying, so we removed it.
2 - We removed an experimental section of hardware-key code that was accidentally included in build 1929.
This code could sometimes cause a hardware key error 250 to be incorrectly reported, asking users to close VTube. This code has been removed from VTube. If you have 4.5 build 1929 installed, and you experience the 250 error dialog, we recommend upgrading to this build.
VTube 4.5 Build 1929 - March 2, 2026
1 - New VTube-STEP Logic for Object Collection
Objects collected could be lost if no tube straights had already been created to hold them. Now, when there are not enough XYZ points in memory to associate a collected object with a straight, VTube automatically increases the XYZ count.
2 - VTube-STEP FIX for Constructed Objects
When constructed entities like drill bosses were switched to invisible in the Constructed Features grid, VTube would delete them. This has been fixed.
3 - VTube-STEP and VTube-LASER UI Fix
The Space Object Control window now sizes properly at startup across different monitor scales.
